Pirin Golf & Country Club - Bansko, Razlog : tree planting programme
Pirin Golf & Country Club , Bansko - Razlog, Bulgaria has announced a tree planting and replanting programme, which includes planting of birch and pine trees as well as replanting of mature (7-8 year) pines from the site of the new Pine course in 2-3 rows along the northern fence of the complex.
This costly programme is beeing implemented to preserve the "green" look of fairways N 1 , N 10, N 11 and N 12 and is intended at improving the quality of the 18-hole Ian Woosnam golf course. The programme may affect to some extend the views from buildings raised on the fence , outside Pirin Golf and Country Club like White Fir Resort , White Fir Valley, Aspen golf . It is anticipated that in 3-4 years the trees will be forming a beautiful natural green wall 10-15 m. high, which will separate the golf course from the outer spaces, behind the fence of Pirin Golf & Country Club. The area marked with red on the photo, taken from the 11-th hole shows the present fenced boundaries and the line, where the trees will be planted.
