What is included in a furniture pack?
The packs can include as much or as little as you would like. We use the phrase “furniture pack” to identify it as a package deal (service) and make a distinction that we are not a retail furniture shop. The packs include all the furniture required, plus lighting and curtains including kitchen appliances ( kettle, toaster) , cutlery, crockery etc. White goods are also available - a fridge freezer, ceramic hobs, extractor hood, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave if the developer is not supplying them for you. You make the selection what to enter in the pack.
When is it advisable to order my furniture ?
We recommend that you order your furniture before or during completion, so it is ready when you have the keys for the property. You can order the pack from the Uinted Kingdom , from Bulgaria or from any other country .
Our practice shows that it is good to start discussing all details of the furnishing process before completion. This includes style selection, furniture details like itemised list of furniture and furnishings, design, colours etc.
Do I need to be there for delivery?
You do not have to be in Bulgaria when the furniture and the household items (if ordered) are delivered. The furniture will be installed , tested, all electrical appliances tested in real time test to prove functionality and every check will be done to ensure everything is properly installed, working and in perfect condition.
Will my furniture pack be suitable for rental?
First Bulgaria delivers "ready to rent" furniture packs if you decide not to loose your time rushing for household items. Our inventory packs are discussed with you, so you approve their contents. We shall advise on the mandatory items, required by the rental management companies.
How much do the furniture cost?

We understand that many who bought their properties in Bulgaria off-plan in 2005-2006-2007 could not predict the negative impact of the present hard times and had budgeted their furniture in different conditions. First Bulgaria keeps prices low, usually 20-30%(sometimes even more) lower than any matching in quality offer.
Can I choose which items go into my package deal?
You are free to tailor your furniture pack as you choose . With the sofas, it is possible to choose the type of upholstery material - faux leather, leather , fabric and whether a standard sofa or a sofa bed is preferred. It is also possible to choose different fabrics for curtains, so you can tailor your colour scheme.
Can I view the furniture before I buy?
All of the styles are available to view in Bansko and Razlog and an appointment can be made to visit and check the quality of our furniture and installation works. You are free to spend as long as you wish with one of our team and discuss different options in order to decide what may best suit you.

Are you a furniture shop ?
First Bulgaria ™ offers furnishing service. We can deliver and install a selection of furniture items in your property through our custom furnishing service. We work with the most reputable Bulgarian furniture producers direct and provide complete or custom furnishing solutions.
What types and styles of furniture do you offer ?
First Bulgaria offers a variety of styles. We provide sample furniture items and will be happy to meet your requirements, should you decide to send us own designs or specific preferences (photos, drawings etc.). We deliver and install custom produced furniture to your property. Our furniture is produced from the highest quality MVC (melamine veneered chipboard) MDF (medium-density fibreboard), including wood veneered MDF and solid wood - pine, beech, aspen , oak. Note that often, the furniture offered by many companies as "wood" is produced from wood veneered MDF.
Some of our styles are exclusively offered by First Bulgaria . We are the only company furnishing in antique, hand waxed rough sawn pine style in Bansko , Razlog and Sofia. Our kitchens are fitted and finished to the last detail.
What is the difference between your furniture service and the furniture shops ?
Retail furniture may not always meet you requirements regarding colours, material, design , style or size. Working with the furniture producers direct we can cut the price and costs associated with the retail chains or shops. We do not sell low quality furniture recently imported in Bulgaria in large quantities from China and some of the new EU countries (Poland). Most of the "styles", marketed on many furniture websites are exactly from this imported furniture, which does not meet our requirements for durability and quality.
Why don't you display the prices for individual furniture items on your website ?
Those who sell ready , prefabricated furniture can do this. Furniture and furnishings differ by size, material, design, make (machine or handmade), cover (upholstering) etc. For this reason we assemble our furniture offer to our clients preference.
IKEA is a world furniture brand , respected by many. At the same time we offer something beyond IKEA - custom produced furniture for you from materials of much higher quality than the standard IKEA furniture applies. Some of our furniture styles cannot be purchased at IKEA. So it's up to you to decide. Finally - get your IKEA quote + installation works quote and ask us for a quote. Compare.
Does your furnishing service meet the rental management companies' standards ?
Yes, we work closely with the property management and rental management companies and have designed our complete furnishing (packaged deals) to meet their requirements. In addition we have our own property management and rental management service now.
What are First Bulgaria's standard procedures?
Our procedures follow the pattern of a standard British furniture service. After discussing all details and reaching agreement on our client's furnishing needs we would require a signed , standard order form with terms of business detailing all conditions. The order forms the contract between First Bulgaria and the client.
What guarantees that a client will be delivered the service as initially agreed and signed for?
We are an established Bulgarian company , not an Internet website or a web shop (sometimes without a clearly displayed owner). Buying furniture and arranging for furnishing service in a foreign country significantly differs from what many are accustomed at home - in the United Kingdom, Ireland , Germany , France or elsewhere. For this reason we would prefer to follow the traditional, old-fashioned procedures, which among other advantages provide more security for the client.
