Sofia new-build and resale property
In 2009 property prices in Sofia , the capital started to normalise following a 7-year steady growth , fuelled by the economic upturn, EU membership, booming lending and an overall increase in local disposable income. The present price correction is mostly expressed in price differentiation influenced by a couple of factors: type of property, location in town, construction technologies applied, level of finishing, etc. The ratio between the cheapest and most expensive properties , which have fallen to 1:2 in 2007 has increased again to 1:3 on average.
First Bulgaria offers only completed properties - apartments or houses with Act 16 (habitation certificate) or period properties from the internal , Bulgarian market which is inaccessible for the foreign investor. The prices in this market may be significantly lower than the prices advertised on websites turned to the foreign investor.
